So with the first 4 weeks of term over at RMA Sandhurst, things are kicking off again on the injury and rehabiliation side.
So why is it that so early on there are problems?
As I wrote before, it is mostly down to lack of preparation. That mean physical preparation for physical load. The body is merely made of component parts that are built of substances that have a certain loading limit. The stronger they are, the more impact they can withstand. And because the body is a biological system, the component parts are 'created' over time in response to load rather. They are not static, rather constantly changing over. If there is lack of preparation for this load ie lack of activity prior to starting the course, then you are just waiting for your tissues to fail. There is no magic secret, just mechanics - biomechanics.
